Privacy Policy
Spanish River Concerts
This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us, including the mobile phone numbers used for account security.
Mobile phone numbers and text messages
- No mobile numbers will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
- Messages are delivered through AWS Notify. AWS does not share end user phone numbers with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use your phone number for two things: to reach you about your tickets and your account, and - if you ask us to - to send one-time verification codes by text message.
What we record when you verify a number
When you request a verification code we record that you asked for it, when, the number it was sent to, and which version of these terms and this policy was in force at the time. We keep this as evidence of your consent, as our messaging provider and mobile carriers require.
We do not store the code itself. Only a one-way cryptographic digest is kept, so that a code can be checked when you enter it but cannot be read back out of our records by anyone, ourselves included.
Verification codes expire after a few minutes and can be used once.
Security records
We keep a record of security-relevant events on your account - a number added,
verified, or removed; password recovery switched on or off; a password reset
completed. Phone numbers in these records are stored partially masked, for
example (***) ***-1212.
Email addresses
Verifying a phone number does not verify an email address, and verifying an email address does not verify a phone number. They are proved separately and recorded separately. The email address your account signs in with is never changed by anything you do with a phone number.
Marketing
Consent to receive verification text messages is not consent to marketing. We do not use your phone number for promotional messages, and your marketing preferences are managed separately in your account settings.
Your choices
You can view, add, and remove the phone numbers on your account at any time under Settings → Phone numbers. Removing a number stops any pending verification codes for it and immediately withdraws its ability to reset your password.
