Text Message Terms and Conditions
Spanish River Concerts
These terms cover the text (SMS) messages Spanish River Concerts sends for account security. They are separate from, and additional to, any other terms governing ticket purchases.
What we send, and when
Spanish River Concerts sends automated one-time verification codes by text message, powered by AWS Notify. A code is sent only when you ask for one - by adding a phone number to your account and choosing "Send Code", by verifying a number already on your account, or by choosing text message as the way to reset your password.
Subscribers opt in at https://spanishriverconcerts.org/dashboard/settings/phones/ to receive verification messages from Spanish River Concerts, powered by AWS Notify. Message frequency may vary per user.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Agreeing to receive a verification code does not sign you up for any other messages, and consenting here has no effect on your email preferences.
Help and cancelling
Text HELP for help. Text STOP to cancel.
Because each verification code is sent only in response to something you did, every code is a separate request. If you no longer want verification texts, you can also remove the phone number from your account at any time under Settings → Phone numbers, which stops any further codes to that number immediately and, if the number was set up for password recovery, turns that off as well.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
Keeping your account safe
A phone number is only marked "verified" when a code we texted to it is entered correctly - entering a number, whether by you or by our staff, is never enough on its own.
If you choose to let a verified number reset your password, anyone holding that phone can request a code and set a new password for your account. Turn that on only for a phone you keep, and turn it off (or remove the number) straight away if you lose the handset or change your number. We email you whenever a password-recovery number is added, removed, or switched off.
We will never ask you for a verification code, and no message or email from us will ever contain your password.
